Vastly improved

I'd given up on Flipboard because there were an alarming number of lunatic fringe websites popping up. I'm talking extreme right wingers, homophobes, racists, misogynists, conspiracy theorists, xenophobic bile spewers who would make Donald Trump blush, "Christians" who would make Jesus Christ change his name and go into hiding...just nasty hateful garbage blogs. The filthy, radioactive, biohazard sludge that collects at the bottom of the web was rising up and drowning out the good sources.

If you gave up on it like I did for the above reasons, give it another try. I decided to check it out again, and I'm glad I did. Someone must have heard our complaints since then, because it's SO MUCH BETTER now. Not every source is reputable, but they're leaps and bounds above where the app was when I ditched it.

Minus one star for the limited capabilities of the iPad interface, but being able to fine-tune my preferences, as well as the new ability to migrate my Zite preferences, has made the app usable again. Thanks, devs!

I would give it more stars if I could.

Flipboard is my most favorite app on my iPad. This is the first thing I check whenever I pick up my iPad and believe me, I pick it up a lot. I fell in love with Flipboard when I got my original iPad 1. I can change my sources, I can look up new ones, it covers everything I'm interested in. And their service techs are friendly, prompt and always ready with an answer. I would highly recommend this to everyone and I do. I'm always commenting about reading a story on "Flipboard". Keep up the great work. You and I will be friends for a long, long time.

Works with a little wrangling!

I enjoy Flipboard's interface and it's fun to navigate. Personally I like to name the exact sources I want to read and not get pushed content, so I went in and customized everything. It took a while for my feed to update but now it only shows things I want to see. What I'd really like are the following features:

See a list of all the posts I've ever "liked" on Flipboard. Putting them into magazines achieves this too but I'd rather have it go into a default "liked" mag, maybe. If possible include things I like on Tumblr, Instagram, etc.

Put things like Instagram and tumblr in my home feed. Right now they don't seem like they appear regularly.

Double tap to zoom in on images in image view mode, instead of two finger zoom.

I'm enjoying using the app. Thanks guys.
