fun, has potential for improvement
It's fun, but there's some issues. Clues range from cleverly worded to standard crossword clues to inaccurate. The inaccurate clues are ones that you can usually guess based on what you know of public, or you straight up won't notice on account of it being outside your area of expertise.
I find it frustrating that the Frankenwords themselves often don't scan. I guess I'm asking the impossible, given the huge variety of English dialects. Still, it's infinitely more fun for me to find a word like "pantsunami" than "peanutilize". Pantsunami I can actually say aloud without pronouncing both component words, and people will know what I said. I can say Peanuht-ilize or Pean-yootilize, but it's just not as clever.
It's also disappointing to see just how many words lack definitions. Finding the answer can be difficult, and it's nice to look forward to a little reward like a silly definition. I'd love an update that included some of the better defs from FB and Twitter.
Atoms and molecules
For everyone bringing up the issue with clues, atoms and molecules are not synonymous, but they are very closely related. A clue is something to point you in the direction of the answer and I think xetherlabs did a great job. I also found there to be a large variety of difficulties. Some were no brainers while others required extensive searching. The only thing I can suggest is to add more levels and use some new words, as I have seen several words pop up more than once:)
Really enjoyed this wordplay game until I made it to level 4, and with one puzzle to go, and no "hints" left, discovered that the available letters kept changing as I shuffled them! Same clue words, but different letters after several reshuffles???? Something is not quite right... I was NOT tempted to purchase extra hints, just to clear the level, but apparently, the constantly changing letter availability precludes discovering a solution. I am tempted to delete the game after a couple of enjoyable hours of play - very disappointed!!!
