This app is addictive and educational. When I am bored, I enjoy spinning the globe to select a country, and read some tidbits on it. I hope future updates include more info on countries, but currently with almost 200 countries to select, there is plenty to read. The bulleted facts can be touched to reveal more narration on a country. The globe is what I like best, and I wish there was a way to make their globe my screen saver. That would be pretty cool. It is kind of soothing to see the revolving earth. At the right price point, I think this app is well worth it.
I hope try give it some good updates. The country info is pretty light. Two things are really annoying... First is that you can only zoom in a certain ways, which makes clicking on smaller countries a real pain. Second is that there doesn't appear to be an option to show the names of all countries without clicking on them. I really wanted this to be an awesome app, and it does have potential. But right now it's grossly overpriced for the $4.99 they got me for.
I was pleasantly surprised with this app, after springing for it.
Whenever my kids or I are curious about some country, we just spin the globe, pick the nation, and read some bitesize info on it.
Cute stuff like flag, currency, some pix & facts. Hope these guys have updates too, down the line.
