Slow, buggy, broken notifications

I've switched to cloud magic and so far I am happy. Here are the reasons why I switched.

1. For years the gmail app has never worked correctly for clearing Notification Center notifications automatically. For example, when my phone is locked and an email comes in I get a notification. If I open the app and read the new email the notification remains in the pull down Notification Center. The only way to remove gmail a notifications in Notification Center is to manually clear them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it only solves the problem for a very short amount of time. I have observed this exact problem on several friends' iPhones as well.

2. No ability to 'forward all'. If I want to forward an entire email thread, I cannot. I can do this on the web but there is not way to do this in the app. It will only forward individual emails within a thread.

3. My inbox view almost always requires me to 'pull to refresh' which is annoying. The app feels like a buggy webpage that Google turned into an app.

I've been hoping Google would address these issues but it has been years. I'm sick of waiting. Especially when there are several third party apps that work much better. If these problems bother you, like they bother me, I suggest using cloud magic. I hope Google fixes these problems because I prefer native apps.

Great Gmail App

This is definitely a great alternative to the iOS mail app. I like that when you click on a link in an email it opens it in an internal browser and gives you the option to open it in Safari. Not all pages work in the browser or won't load very fast, but I've only encountered a few and it wasn't a big deal. Switching between accounts is pretty simple. The app has an even better experience on the iPad. Everything is neatly displayed in one layout and your other accounts are on a side bar along with folders and filters. I think 4 stars fits what this offers. I would up it to 5 stars if gave it all of the features the desktop version has, like chat and the ability to create folders. You still have to do those things on the desktop version.

What's the deal????

I've used this app for the longest time & have never had any problems at all with it. I recently {a month or so ago} switched to a iPhone 5. I have it set up just like I've had on any other phone, where I'll get alerted as I receive emails & it'll show a number on the app,{which kinda bugs me so I try to read them as they come so I don't have to see the numbers on the app every time I look at my screen. Bad Case Of OCD Here}. For a whole week now, the app has been showing that I have 1 new email, but I can't seem to find it anywhere!!!! I've even deleted & downloaded the app a few different times now, but No Luck.... I'm curious, am I they only one that's having this issue? Would anyone happen to have any idea on what I could do to fix this? I really don't want to turn the notifications off but I may just have to.
