Keeps crashing!!

Liked this app at first. Was recommended by my Dr. Have type 2 diabetes and was using it to track carbs until I couldn't find an item in the food index and entered a custom food. Tried to select the custom entry and the app crashes. Every single time, both on iPhone 6 and my iPad. This is a deal killer. If I take the time to enter a custom food (a common one too, surprised it wasn't in their database) I should be able to select it. I can't so I'll be looking for another app until/if they get this fixed. Plus entering each meal was very clunky on my iPhone. Easier on the iPad but I don't carry that everywhere. I should also be able to customize when I check my blood sugar. I do it before each meal and at bedtime. Not before and after each meal. I get tired of seeing an empty entry spot that I have no use for. It would make more sense to be able to adjust that to how each individual checks their blood sugar vs having predetermined entry points that may not pertain to every person using the app. I wish it was more customizable, and didn't crash so much. Until those complaints are resolved, I'll be passing on this app which could be great but for those few issues.

Could use more flexibility

Biggest problem so far is that I often track food in grams, which are usually much larger numbers. You can’t type in a number because it has to be chosen from a drop down menu. It would be so much easier if I could just type in a number. The drop down only gives you 0-7 and the incremental measurement only lets you use .25, .5, or .75. If you’re measuring food with a scale to get more exact numbers, you can’t enter those exact numbers. I couldn’t enter 156 g or 5.1 oz.

Very useful app

I was told about this app by my nutritionist. In the past I have tried keeping track of my food intake/glucose levels by writing in a journal. This app helps me stay on track so much better so that I can manage my type 2 Diabetes more efficiently. And it's so easy to use. I also use the reports feature so that I can share the information with my Diabetes team.
