Family Farm: Goodfolks is an easy to play realistic-looking simulation of country life. Will you accept the challenge of bringing a desolate village back to life?
Good folks are coming to this village looking for a nice place to live and work. You will build fields, orchards, and corrals for livestock. Cook meals with ingredients you harvested, milked, or caught.
This is an old-fashioned real-time game. You don't need to worry about your plants withering when you are not playing. The game mechanics were inspired by board games.
We recommend playing on an iPad. Owners of first-gen iPads and iPhone 4 will experience lower visual quality and frame-rate. iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3rd gen are not supported.

Family farm: Goodfolks
This game never mentioned a cap on gems. I became quite addicted to this fun game but if you purchase the play continuously, for only about $2.99 Dollars...the game gets impossibly expensive! Suddenly I'm needing to purchase $5 of gems almost 1-2 times a week just to feed my livestock & all of my hands! Until I just had to stop to one game a day. Those were my choices, but also a warning if you choose to purchase the continuous play you pay & pay! Then without warning or any explanation I was unable to purchase Any gems! Even playing once a day, my farm was so large I was unable to feed the livestock nor any of my helpers..anything! I put a lot of time and money into a game I really enjoyed for it to lock me out so completely! I wish they had a help area you could go to if you run into problems but it just isn't offered...
Good but could be better
It's a cool concept and love the choice of angles and more realistic characters. I do not like that you can only play for like 20 minutes before you have to wait and hour or pay $2. I also don't like that you can't design the layout. And the new thing games are doing where to earn things you kinda need to play the game with any flow you have to join things you don't want to join or fill in surveys. I won't even go there. I think many games will start losing players to these over-sponsor dependent games! Including me. A game is supposed to be fun not aggregating. Nice try guys but no thanks.
Fun game but...
Very interesting, laid back game. After you get a little farther in the game, it starts to get hard to manage in the short time of a day. It would be nice if you could view the farm in pause mode, so that you could put more thought in to what to assign to your villagers without the clock making you know you're waisting time. Another thing is that it seems to top off after a point. I like that different colored animals can be bought, but thats about it in terms of customization- and thats if money does not count. It would be nice to have children or other spins like that to mKe it more diverse.
