Google accounts get 15GB of storage free, shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. For additional storage, you can upgrade to a premium subscription plan as an in-app purchase.

Storage subscriptions purchased from the app will be charged to your iTunes Account, and automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions and auto-renewal may be managed by going to iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

A stunning feat of humanity

Yeah, I know that's big praise. But seriously, look at it. This is a full productivity suite I can use hopping back and forth among my phone, work laptop, wife's computer, my own two office machines -- whatevah, I want to see and work on any of my stuff, I jump on the nearest device and go to work. It's free and it works perfectly every time. It's kind of insane we can do all this, actually.

I keep expecting I'll miss MS Office, especially Word's substantially more robust feature set, because I make a lot of documentation professionally and I depended on Office for many years. But it really hasn't happened. I use Google docs for everything and now I really depend on the universal accessibility Drive affords. I'm not transporting any more files on thumb drive, forget it. Life is easier, the birds are chirping. So thanks Google! I know you're making a mint off my small contribution to your Big Data collection. But what the heck, I wasn't using that anyway. And I am using this. Regards.

Five star if could be adapted to iPad iOS 11 file system

It’s a great app to manage all the documents in my Google accounts, which is far more convenient than the desktop version where I can only view and use one account.
There’s just one downside, which is it doesn’t seem to be adapted to the iOS 11 file system on my iPad. It is now using a “share” view, which seems like a box within the file system. It would be better if the interface is sort of like the website version with all the folders icon in the built-in file system.

Photo quality still downgraded

Apparently no intentions to address this issue from Google. So sad. This used to be my go-to app for photo backups because it used to keep the photo quality and resolution intact without downgrading the resolution - much to my disappointment, the photo quality is fine when uploading to the drive but now photos are downgraded when you download from Google Drive back to the iPhone. This is very disappointing because it used to keep the fidelity intact. Seems like the new Google Drive app developers are riding in training wheels or cutting corners. Does nobody notice these things or does nobody care?
I won't be using this app until this is fixed. So disappointed with this app lately.
