What's New in Version 3.20.1005
- New! Quickly navigate to your favorite music and features with a persistent navigation bar
- Bug fixes
It works, but needs some test & tune
My main complaint was the fact that I couldn't access "My Library" conveniently while browsing music, but the new update fixed this issue. The app overall is great but frustrating to use at times. I can't pick up my phone without accidentally changing to next or previous song because of the slide feature that changes the song by swiping your finger. The queue works rather strangely, spotify's setup is much better for that. The features need to be toned down a bit, I don't like how every little movement or touch has an action because it makes my phone feel super fragile when I'm just trying to relax and enjoy my music. I do enjoy it most of the time but get rid of the swipe feature it is ruining my experience. My original rating was 3 stars, but this app deserves at least 4 after making My Library much more accessible.
Good app, I wish it had an equalizer built in.
App works good on my iPhone, I wish It had an equalizer though. I don't have any glitches that people have spoke of it seems to work fine on my iPhone. I love the Google play app because I only pay $15 a month for my whole family to have access to all the music they want so that covers five devices and you can't beat the price and it allows you to download your music for off-line use which is key if you do any activities out in the woods or wilderness. My only gripe is I like tuning my music so I'll whine again, I wish it had an equalizer! Lol
Updated Review - App fixed, all better now
EDIT/UPDATE - Looks like Google has fixed everything! Play is once again my go-to music app. Thank you!
I hate writing a one-star but hopefully the App team takes note of the complaints. The one that irks me is that I can no longer skip around to parts of a song by sliding the little ball like I used to.
It's really weird, it would pop up with the cover of the album and controls to skip to the next track and back, but that's all gone now. Please repair, and thank you!
