Fun for a while...
The game is fun at first but after you run through your money on the first few rooms it stops being fun. You have to do surveys or complete offers to have enough money to do anything, and the prices on the required items for the rooms are always more than you have...so either you spend real money or you design a room half-a**. Either way, there are not enough decorative items and the artwork is horrible!!! Not to mention that items that should be put in a room as a set (I.e. A dresser set, or a specific chair and ottoman designed for each other) are not available, you can get one of the dressers or the ottoman (that does not match or look good with any single chair in the game) and the company just decided to not include the other part of the set so you have to find some other piece to go with it that results in a horrible arrangement. Even if you design a decent looking room no one really votes on a well designed room that follows the needs of the "client"...if you want a good review you should design a room that is way too matchy-matchy (and that no person would ever decorate their home like) and has nothing to do with the desired look of the "client"...then you will get 5/5 stars! I have been playing for a few weeks, and am about done.
Low scores every time.
I've been playing this game for about 6 months now. I've never spent real money to play. Occasionally I'll do offers in Tapjoy, however you have to be careful with that because you aren't always awarded your diamonds. They've shorted me thousands of diamonds and even after going through the trouble of contacting support, they never awarded them to me. So everyday, I do the daily room that awards $2,500 , and check in daily for my diamonds. I've probably designed 361 rooms, and my average score is 4.17. That means I barely hit the 4.0 mark to receive the prize ever single time. I've been lucky enough to receive a 5.0 maybe 5 times out of all of them, and at leave 5 of out 10 of my designs score lower than 4.0- which means I don't get the prize. I've spent as much as $28, 000 on one room where I had saved up my money and diamonds and still got a low score! I'm seriously about to delete the app bc I think it's ridiculous. It also takes up over 1 GIG of storage on my phone and at one point, it was at 6 GIG! More than my Apple Music! At any rate, if you're just playing it to pass time once a day, it's a great app. I wouldn't waste real money on it though- there is no point when the voting process will keep your scores low anyway.
Ok at first.
Im editing this because I'm NOT "skrollem" as it says my review is by. Get the user names right and dont change it to whatever you want! At first this game was fun, but unless you dump real cash in, you are always broke and cant buy anything in the game. The challenges don't pay out enough. It always says i cant use the furniture i have, or if i get a 4 star rating, I either dont get my prize or once again says i cant use it. Challenges you enter dont pay out enough, so unless you are willing to dump real cash into this game to buy stuff, you are always broke and cant do anything in game challenges....what a waste of time. Could have been a good game if you didnt make it where I had to use real cash to make in app purchases to play a game. Why make a fun and interesting game that a lot of people seem to really like to play, only to make it annoying when your challenges leave you broke. Shouldn't have to spend real money to enjoy a game. Fix it to where the challenges pay out more. Might get a better review if you do that, oh and don't change my user name when i post a review, I AM NOT SKROLLEM! Dont even know who that is. 😠
