Very helps while studying for the CPC exam!
I am studying for an upcoming CPC exam, well..a retake exam on Jan. 21, 2017 (wish me luck!!!..I missed the last one by only 2 questions!) And, I actually bought the premium version of this app because I use it so much! The ads would just take too long for my ADHD to kick in and start thinking about the house needing to be cleaned or laundry needing to be folded..being a stay at home mom of a 4 year-old, 14 year-old, a husband who travels for work and keeping the house looking almost picture perfect almost all of the time...those 30 seconds of ads would throw me off of my grind! Needless to say, this app is probably the most used app next to YouTubeKids for my toddler, and Facebook for myself and checking on my teenager. Other than that, my phone is usually set to "Do Not Disturb" along with the hand written sign of "Leave Me Alone" I have to place in front of me while I study at home...
Good luck to those of you in your 30's (and all ages!) who attempt to and succeed (perhaps fail and try again) at gaining a career while having no other choice but doing it while raising the children at home..it is not easy, you may do what I have chosen to do..wake up at 430am to enjoy(???) the peace and quiet..(I guess you could call all of the snoring quiet time..)
Helps me tremendously!
In the last 1 1/2 years I have used this application several times a week. My health took a bad turn and I have read so many of my medical records that have many words that I just don't know the meaning of. I'm sure my doctors or their nurses would find me to be both annoying and time consuming if I were to call every time I wanted to know what some medical word meant. This dictionary has been a tremendous asset to helping me understand exactly what my test results and various conditions mean to my health. I honestly don't know how I could ever keep up with knowing what's going on with my health if I had to either call or email my doctor then wait for a response or go to a library to look up all the words. That's if the library even has a medical dictionary. I'd give this app 10 stars if I could.
It's amazing how much information is in this app! As I'm using it it reminds me of using a computer. You have to remind yourself that your only using a phone. I've been diagnosed with COPD and could not finish reading all this little app has on it. So I bookmarked the topic, and will return to try to complete my reading of all the information. Keep updating this app so that the immense amount of knowledge it has can be kept as current as possible. I recommend this app to anyone desiring a source of accurate medical and health information with no limit.
