Finally, "at a glance" world time

No need to click, lose focus, or navigate a dropdown. Setup could be more intuitive, but once set up, it just works. Excellent and useful for weary travellers who change timezones like they change socks.

Works great, confusing one-time setup

This app does exactly what I needed it to do - dealing with customers in many different time zones, I was constantly searching for “What time is it in X now?”, which starts to get old. This app puts a convenient banner in your menu bar with a country flag and the time there right now. So you can see at a glance if you’ll be waking someone up, or if you can catch them before the end of the day.

The only thing preventing this rating being 5-stars is a somewhat confusing setup process. All the time zones in the world are listed, and I’m sure it’s some standard list, but the presentation and names used are quite difficult to parse. It’s easier if you search for “What’s the UTC offset for IST?” and then find an entry with that same UTC/GMT offset - they are listed in order of UTC offset.

Another issue for people with small screens - this will take up some space in your menu bar (duh!), so if you are already cramped up there, you may want a different app. For my use (with an external wide-screen monitor) it’s perfect.
