One of the essential apps on my iPhone…when it works.
Anyone who is serious about film will love Letterboxd. It's a great way to organize, rate, and talk about what you watch. Would recommend to anyone who loves movies or anyone that's trying to get into them. It’s fantastic when it works. But…
This new update has ushered in a ton of bugs and the app randomly logs me out. I get error messages 50% of the time that I use the app. With a stability update, this rises to five stars.
good, but some things are weird
...like how you can only add tags to movies if you have a watched date—it doesn’t make sense to me why those two things would be connected on a database level. as most people will be adding movies they’ve seen in a distant past, seems like watched date shouldn’t be required for any of the other features.
should be able to remove a movie from your movies without first removing the rating, imo.
App barely works
A great movie app when it works...which is only 5% of the time- Developers need to fix it...I’ve never seen an app more buggy 24/7. Could be a 5 star app but due to its issues it’s lucky to get 2
