Account Tracker Pro 4+

I used Pocket Money for years and loved it. Then new owners bought it and totally changed it. Terrible. I contacted using the old version while searching for something I liked. I can’t tell you how many I bought only to delete them after a short while. Then finally I saw someone post about buying account tracker pro. I knew at some point my old app would be obsolete so I decided to try it. Omg, finally! My last ios update killed my old app on my iPad but I’m okay since I bought Account Tracker Pro. It’s fantastic and you couldn’t ask for better support. Practically an instant response when you email support. He helped me move years of my data from the old app. This was my second contact and both times instant responses. If you want to track your accounts you must try this app. Sooooo happy with it. 👍🏻

I just have to add to my previous review. I’ve used this app since May and continue to be thrilled with it. I’ve seen a few negative comments about syncing but I have never had an issue. Maybe it was an early problem that was fixed long ago. Anyway, after using it for eight months I couldn’t be happier. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good money app that’s easy to use and actually works. 🥰

I've been using this app since 2015 and it simply works. I've tried other financial apps but none of them fit my brain the way this one does. Budgeting is so simple with this. Every account from every bank or other financial institution is all in one place. I can watch my debts (car, house) go down month by month, and when they are paid off, simply delete the whole thing while records of payments are still kept in my checking account section. And when (as I often do) I decide to change a category or detail group and delete the old, it does NOT delete previous transactions and screw up the balance. It merely puts a blank space in the old transactions. For several years I kept a backup, paper checkbook, but once I needed to wipe my phone and reinstall this from a backup I had emailed myself and realized how simple it was, I tossed out the checkbook. I sincerely hope this app never goes away, it is all I use for ALL my financial records!

This is the app I have been searching for over 1 year for! I had even gone so far as to purchase the Apple Developer license and begin to start learning to program myself because I have literally bought about 10 different checkbook apps searching for something like this.

-Uses iCloud so that multiple devices can be used to enter data
-Uses iCloud so that no subscription is required

Those were the two main checkboxes I needed checked. I would advise anyone using it to Read The Freaking Manual (RTFM). It defaults to a reconciliation method I had not seen before (items today and in past are cleared) so that threw me off but the developer was very nice about it. Responded within minutes.

You can create your own categories which is nice and I had seen this in other apps. I like how it memorized the payees and I can go in and edit the list. I like it also has a backup feature too which gives me peace of mind (especially after having 3 different apps lose all of my data after using them about 3 months).

In order to use multiple devices make sure you read the pop ups which appear when turning SYNC on. They are very clear. From what I know about the iCloud sync, iOS can throttle the syncing so you will want to turn it on for your primary device and then wait a bit before turning it on for the second device.
