Holy Inquisitor, Batman!

Izzyoc

Rating: three and a half stars rounded up to four

The good: crisp graphics, snarky commentary from the main character (although the voice could have a little more life). I did like the variety of characters you meet in this game Collectable doves and don't forget to click on the ravens which give you additional info. Transporting map which makes it easy to get to the active location (otherwise, it would be tedious with the to-ing and fro-ing!)

The bad: Some folks may not like the tasks where you have to collect a certain number of items which have to be added to something on the screen in order to complete a task. The mechanism was a little klugy - you had to click on that something on the screen which pulls up a couple of circles with outlines of the items needed, then you click on the item in your inventory and drag it to the circle. I've played similar games where you simply click the item in your inventory, drag it to where it is needed and the circles automatically open up for you. Nit-picky of me, I know.

The ugly: the game consistently kicked me out near the beginning when you enter the town and first meet the inquisitor. I finally got past this by quickly click in on the screen as soon as the shield appears on the screen to initiate the mini-boss battle with the inquisitor. Sadly this game also opens pop-up windows periodically, asking you to rate the game ...

Finally, a pay once only hop from G5 - and it's good!

I won't play those games that make you pay for every step along the way. This one, I just paid for the unlock, and the game is quite good. Interesting story line, lovely graphics, good animation and helpful hint system. I really, really hope G5 makes more of these kinds of games and ends that constant demand for more more more $. A fair, one-time price, I'm willing to pay for a quality game; I don't expect them to give it away, and I realize they're in it for profit. But don't try to soak us. So I hope this game is a sign that they're going to start offering new pay methods now. It would be great to have an alternative to Big Fish.

Enjoyable Game!

I am not finished yet, however you should pass this one up! It has Great characters and voiceovers, a teleporting map. hIdden object scenes which are of a variety. Puzzles and I think a Very interesting storyline. Really am having a Great time with this one. I only hope that G5 will release this type of game more frequently. Graphics are gorgeous and so far no glitches. A must buy for the serious gamer who likes adventure.
Thank You, G5 for the entertaining game!
