Ratings and Reviews
Great With A Few Bugs
This wallet is awesome! I haven’t read many reviews to see what people say but it’s great. Has tons of crypto currencies available and the shapeshifter feature is a god send. The only issues I have with it is when trying to load the DASH wallet the app will try and load it and then freeze the app. I don’t seem to have this issue with any I the other currencies so I’m guessing the coding just needs to be optimized for DASH.
The mobile app coupled with the desktop app for windows and the Chrome web browser extension is awesome. Also for those that want try out Jaxx and are moving from Exodus wallet you can take your private key phrase from Jaxx and “restore” it on Exodus and see all the same currencies and balance. I haven’t tried using Exodus to transfer or send but still a neat feature. I highly recommend Jaxx.
Still has issues
I am waiting for a version for ios that works as it should since April 2017 when i installed it on my Iphone first time. I personally can’t believe that an app for ios can perform so badly. I am using it to kepp my coins on it but i am mostly using it on pc where it works without a flaw. The actual version is just as bad as the last one , when i switch trough the wallets i get transactions from eth displayed bellow ltc , from btc bellow eth , no History shows up on some coins or it shows just a single transaction for all the time i have been using it , today gave me a heart attack when I noticed that 0.80 btc were gone out of the wallet and i was left with dust. I had to check on my laptop if my btc was intact still was gone missing. At this point still shows me one transaction on btc and the dust left in the wallet. It needs so much improvement. Common Devs , this is an Ios app, get it done already
Revised review- vastly improved, but a few issues remain
I had previously posted a review that had serious doubts about Jaxx, mostly regarding safety/security and ease of use. The updates that have made to the wallet now make it extremely useful, and have assuaged any concerns regarding security. My only concern/complaint is that it doesn’t seem to sync with the Blockchain automatically (or at least not very well). To see a transaction one has to refresh the bitcoin wallet, which takes a few minutes. This is pretty inconvenient. Making this automatic and providing the capability to push changes to the wallet/notifications would make the iOS version much more useful.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
