Description

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded 650 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced the addition of over 80 beloved Pokémon among several other new features.

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the prestige and ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side.

Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!

Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops, found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments, to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.

Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.

Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers.

It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

Used to love this game

Seems like ever since they added the newer gen Pokémon; the game has went to crap. It caters to new players and takes a big dump on the ones who have been playin since it came out. I've put in so much time and effort into this game and it seems like I'm always having bad luck. I rarely find 10k eggs and out of the eggs I get and hatch; it's stuff I literally don't need and TONS of repeats. For example; for this easter event, I purchased incubators with my own money and ended up with 6 magbys. SIX. That's way too many. Tons of pidgeys and todadiles. Not to mention, the todadile was the only new gen Pokémon I believe I even hatched out of the 40 eggs I have hatched over the passed week. My friend restarted and has hatched a wide variety of both gen from his eggs and doesn't get repeats. My other friend noticed and restarted too and as soon as he did; he started getting better stuff too! Not to mention they both leveled up at the speed of light while I had to gruel and grind last summer to reach 22 and in two days they are already level 22. What's the deal? Why should I have to restart the game to get a wider variety of Pokémon out of these eggs and level up? How is that fair? I won't be spending anymore money on this game and may stop playing it altogether. Let's not forget the fact that now if you're a passenger in a car you cannot catch anything anymore or even get a pokestop.

Good Game but some issues

Pokémon Go is a good game but has some issues. For one, the speed limit is too much. I usually don't have time to go outside and hunt for Pokémon. I can't drive yet, but I still play most of my Pokémon Go in the car. I can't catch Pokémon whenever I'm going over a certain speed. It even has a button to say that your a passenger but still won't let you spin stops, track Pokémon or catch any Pokémon. Please get rid of the speed limit. You guys putting out the hatchable baby pokemon wasn't smart. It wasn't smart to put them out during winter. Most people couldn't get them because it was cold and snowing. I only have igglybuff and it's April. I would've had more if you didn't release the babies in winter. Also fix the tracking system. We can only see what's at pokestops. It would be cool to see what is at gyms too. Like the pokestop tracker, there should also be a gym tracker. Also allow us to switch from the tracker to see what is nearby and not at pokestops. Other than that, this game is really good. The occasional events are cool and really good ideas. GOODBYE!!!!!😉😉😉

Quit your complaining 🙄

Niantic and Nintendo are trying their best for you guys to have fun while playing the game. Do you think that saying stuff like "Fix this bug NOW! I hate it and it's giving me issues." They know about the problems you have with the game and what do you think they are doing? FIXING IT. It's not encouraging to them when you guys are bad-mouthing the game. (This is directed to every user out there, just the complaining ones.) Just be patient. Personally, This game is so fun for me to play and I really think that Niantic did a great job developing it. It gives people a chance to actually look at the world around them and get outside rather than sitting around on your Xbox One all day. Niantic was having some trouble at first, but they're really pulling through with the game. When I had GPS bugs in my game, I just shut my phone fully off, reloaded the game, and everything was perfectly fine again. How about trying that instead of insulting Niantic's game?
