Customer Reviews

Not good so far

Edited: This app could be MUCH better. It isn't very user friendly. For one, if I log in then it should automatically load my region with access to the other ones if I want to see them. I personally don't care about the other regions. If I want to find a class then all of the schedules should just be for my location. I don't want to weed through all the other locations' classes. The navigation is very difficult as well. It's too much! It could be much simpler. It's doesn't stay logged in either so you have to keep logging in. If you back out to a previous page you have to log back in. Can't reserve a space in a class because it wants you to pay $20 extra a month the reserve that right even though I am a Premier member. I already pay extra!! I also like the link IN THE APP to download the app. That's laughable. Even more laughable this app is so bad I deleted it from my phone. It's a waste of space right now.

Only for NY, slightly less buggy than mobile site

I had high hopes for this app, but it's clearly not there yet. Links don't work, it's super buggy, it retains the NYSC branding even if you sign in as a member from another market. It's just a mess — obviously a 1.0 release. It has potential, of course. Some gyms out there have fantastic apps, and hopefully this one will mature into one of them, but it's not worth using right now. The interface is only slightly better than the awful awful awful mobile site, which I've begrudgingly used for lack of any other option. C'mon guys, get your act together and deliver a decent mobile app experience that is worthy of all the money you charge us every month.

Completely NYSC-centric

Summary of the experience: Open the app - default region is NYSC. Ok, may make sense since it is the largest - but maybe use location to realize I'm in Boston. It asks me to "get started" by answering a few questions that I have answered every time I open the app. Takes me to NYSC home screen so can't book a class in Boston. Hit "change region," click on BSC. Logs me out, tells me to sign in - again defaulted to NYSC! Endless loop of the above ensues.
I've never been moved to write an app review but this is truly an embarrassment. The app has potential but as-is, it is incredibly buggy, not user friendly, and unusable if you're not in NYC.
