Understanding & Overall!
I’ve just started the game, but have already spent about 2-3 hours playing this game. The game is a tiny smidge hard to understand at first, but the game has thrown me on a rollercoaster so far! This game is really for those who want a classic horror story. The games not to the point where it’s terrifying, but I don’t recommended it for those who absolutely HATE supernatural/paranormal involvement. The only thing I don’t like is that to get to a certain place, you have a to travel across the island. I get that it kind of takes away from the whole aspect, but it would be nice if I could just tap a location on the map and travel there quickly. That’s really my only complaint. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys supernatural/paranormal topics, adventure, etc. Really glad Edward Islands isn’t a real place. If it was, I’d never go there. I’m not the type of teenager who enjoys drinking and going to haunted abandoned islands. It’s a good that I can do this through a game and not in real life! I’d really like to thank humanity for creating video games! Just hope that we don’t get a case of Jumanji. That would be problematic...
This game is absolutely astonishing. The graphics are beautiful, the story is compelling, and the characters are just... wow. I love it, so hecking much, but I have one teeensy problem. It keeps crashing, and at the worst times. I'm at (what I believe to be) the final stage. I've gotten through the all the spooky stuff, and I'm so pumped to know how it ends. But, alas, the game seems to be against me. It keeps crashing right before I go into the cave, and it doesn't even save. It's extremely disappointing because one I payed for this and was expecting it not to be all glitchy, and two I feel like I'll never get to know the end. Hopefully one of you cool cats that made this can help me?? I dunno, I hope you can though. Anywho, overall it's a great game and anyone considering getting it definitely should. The crashing things seems to be just my problem, so I'm still gonna give it five stars and all that jazz. Happy playing ladies and gents, and hopefully I'll get to know how this all plays out, yeah?
I guess I just missed it but being a pretty avid gamer this just doesn’t appeal to me. It’s more an interactive story than a game. The production quality is good and I could see where it would appeal to some people as a story. I just couldn’t muster the interest to finish but did manage to play about two thirds of it before boredom got me. I really wanted to like this game more than I did and gave it a fair shot but I guess point and click adventure games just aren’t my thing. Certainly a lot of people really liked this game and it got great reviews on many different platforms. It’s probably more about my preference in games then the quality of the game. For me three stars. Great presentation, voice acting and production quality. Controls are fine on the iPad, the game is just not my thing. Also, I would imagine this would be next to impossible to see on a phone. The characters are very small compared to the overall scene (with no way to zoom in) on an iPad. They would be dust specks on a phone screen.
