Ratings and Reviews
Glad this exists
I’m glad an app like this exists, it’s nice to track the challenges I do and get more ideas for some to do, as exposure challenges are a vital part of beating social anxiety. This app is simply a way to track challenges and I don’t think it needs to have a tool section like other people are saying, but that’s an area I don’t need help in. I hope that in the next version they will include more steps since the reason I got this app was because I sometimes have trouble thinking of challenges.
I like the app, but I wish there were more steps.
Exposure and Response Prevention
There are a couple reviews saying things like, "Ideal for people who don't have anxiety," and, "This app triggers my anxiety..."
As someone who's been living with OCD, anxiety, and clinical depression for nearly thirteen years, I just want to make it clear that you cannot conquer anxiety without facing it head-on. Honestly, it's probably best to do this with a therapist - one who specializes in using ERP and DBT rather than CBT - especially if your anxiety isn't just social anxiety, and the tasks that this app is encouraging you to accomplish are more than just triggering in the sense that you're doing something that makes you anxious because it's somewhat unfamiliar and awkward.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
