SPACEPLAN is an experimental piece of interaction based partly on a total misunderstanding of Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time. Use manual clicks and the passage of time to create and launch potato-based devices and probes from your nondescript satellite orbiting a mysterious planet. Unlock the mysteries of the galaxy or just kill some time in what the astrophysics community is calling the ‘best narrative sci-fi clicker game of all times’.

* Fifteen starchy items to unlock, create, and blast into the vacuum of space.

* Life affirming, silly story that will both captivate and help you kill time.

* Reveal the secrets of five different planets across two different realities.

* Banging soundtrack, as is customary in a narrative sci-fi clicker game.

Kinda pointless

You’re basically collecting energy to build items in a very guided manner all the while narrated by a dry-humored AI. And!!! After two days of involved game play, I opened the app and it crashed! After that, when I try to open it, I see a lovely black screen. Rebooting the phone does not be help. I think I have to uninstall/reinstalled to get it working again but then do I lose my extensive progress? It’s and upsetting thought and I’m considering asking for my money back. Would I recommend? Nah... if it wasn’t for the crash then maybe? But to risk losing your progress after so much time is frustrating.

Quick and Wonderful Experience

If you’re a fan of science fiction that doesn’t take itself too seriously, a playthrough of this game is a downright necessity. You’re likely to finish it up in a couple days of casual gaming, left with a fierce admiration of the cosmos and a cheeky grin on your face. At the time I purchased the game, it was a $3 buy. I mean, PLEASE. If it’s a choice between a cup of coffee and a romp through the virtual universe, take me the heck to Mars 👽☕️

Was a lot of fun, wish it was longer

Beat it in about two days. To me there isn’t a whole lot of replay value as the story is too short to really feel any desire to go through it again. Maybe later if the devs could add certain modes to extend the longevity or maybe add an extra story line in between the beginning and end to make it a bit more fresh that would be great.
