Zarya - 1 is a survival text based quest with elements of science fiction, horror, and occasional humor. In this game you will be able to alter the story by making choices, creating your very own adventure.

If you liked Alien, Dead Space and Lifeline - you'll love this.

THE STORY. In 2021 humankind received a distress signal from the far side of the Moon, and immediately sent four brave people to investigate its source. You will be monitoring the astronauts and make decisions that will directly impact the story and the characters. Each choice may lead you closer to - or farther from - the truth.

- Mind-shattering atmosphere, a mix of sci-fi and horror in the veins of Alien and Prometheus, spiced up with the occasional joke
- Communicate with the astronauts in real time
- Influence the story by making your own decisions
- If you have to lay aside your device, the team will send you a notification if something happens
- There are multiple endings, including happy ones :)
- You can rewind the story and make another choice if the mission ends in a disaster
- What separates this game from other text quests like Lifeline, are the awesome photos that the team sends your way while exploring the source of the signal

Fun and Addictive

Perfect game for booklovers. I am a fan of classic horror (Lovecraft, Chambers, Bram) and have found this game to be a perfect mix between a book and a video game.

The interactive style and choices make it very interesting and appealing to booklovers. I don't feel like there's too many options making jt feel like a video game, nor do a feel like there's too little making it feel like a book (maybe adding in a couple more choices here and there would make it perfect).

I think that this version accomplishes all the requirements for interactive fiction, however, I do think it would be nice if some extra features were added. E.g. adding an accessible map of the world that the player has explored, giving the player an archive of the dialogue/photos he has seen, or allowing the player to take notes before/while/after playing the game and allowing him to access the notes while playing the game.

Only thing I would complain about to the developers is that the game has very slight lag, which can be annoying if scrolling upward. I do have an "old" iPad (about 3-4 years old) but I've never have had trouble before.

Would definitely buy another one of the developer's games.

I have been playing this off and on for a few days and I gotta say.... it's awesome! I never know what's around the next corner and the characters are sarcastic while intelligible and reasonable. Still haven't reached a completion though. I keep killing them on accident.
