Phiewer PRO - Photo editor and image viewer for Mac.
Phiewer PRO is the easiest and fastest way to view and edit your images. It's folder based so you can just browse and edit your media in one window without any extra clicking and selecting...
*** Fast and Responsive User Interface ***
It's incredibly fast and responsive, your media fits fluidly right into your viewport, of course also in fullscreen mode.
*** Filters ***
In the filter section every single image can be edited. There are lots of adjustments like brightness, saturation, contrast, noise, red/green/blue colorisation and more. Every single filter preset can be saved. So keep your favourite adjustments as a preset. Your filter adjustments can also be added on the fly to camera RAW images and exported to png for example.
*** Effect Presets ***
Put beautifully preset effects to your images like Black&White, Polaroid, Technicolor or make it a sunset Boulevard. Your added effects can also be added to your camera RAW images and exported to png for example.
*** Adjustments ***
In the Adjust section you can use the usual image editing tools like align, flipping horizontally or vertically, rotation and cropping. All adjustments can be saved to the existing or a new image. A modern tinyfier compression library makes you images as small as possible while keeping the image quality.
*** Quick Controls ***
A simple controls panel and lots of shortcuts for browsing, rotating, play/pause, toggle fullscreen, toggle info panel and much more is built right in. And hey, it's also possible to rotate videos.
*** File Information / Exif Data Viewer ***
For any of your media you can toggle the info panel to see detailed information and Exif data for example. Phiewer also displays most common RAW camera image formats.
*** Multimedia Slideshow ***
Just hit the Slideshow play button to view your media folders automated with nice transition effects and background music. You can set the interval speed of each slide, choose transition effects and select your music from really cool handpicked background tracks. There is also the possibility to select your own music from your hard drive.

I got the Pro version a few days ago and I'm about to delete it... when I click on an image to view, every single effing time Phiewer asks my permission to open up the directory that the image is in. Why god, please tell me why!!??!!?? This step makes this viewer beyond annoying—and it’s so completely dumb. Just open the image!!! Don’t slow me down tith a question box in which I will ALWAYS answer YES!! Yes, I want to open the image!!!! Just do it!!!
I’ve paid for three viewers now, and each one found a way to totally screw things up. I’m running out of viewers to try…
Make an option to skip video files. Please
this is actually a good idea. I will take that on the list.
Made a Mistake...
…purchasing the “Pro” version of this software—never mind that the free version is very, very nice. I have four operating systems (all some version of OS10.12) on four boot drives attached to my iMac, and I can’t get this to work on any of them. Try to open a single pic and I get a “Allow to Open Folder” button which, when clicked, produces another “Allow to Open Folder” button ad infinitim until a force quit is required. Don’t buy this if you want to open pics one at a time.
I am really sorry to hear that you have a bad experience. This behaviour sounds like serious bug... but I cannot reproduce it. Opening a single file works correctly on all MacOS systems I use. Your description sounds like the opening dialog doesn't have access rights to the folder you try to open. Maybe you can check your folder permissions on your system. You mentioned the free version... does the free version work correctly in that case?
It would be very kind if you can help me to reproduce this bug so that I can fix it. Please send me some detailed informations to email@example.com (OS version, folder permissions, does it work when opening a folder?, works with the free version?, or maybe even the image file itself, if it's publicly available)
