Based on the PBS KIDS series, “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That,” this app introduces pre-k kids to science inquiry and engineering (STEM) concepts through games tailored to their learning progress.

Kids can build bridges, explore friction through slides, sort fun objects and more in fantastical lands along with the Cat in the Hat, Nick and Sally. Not only is it fun, it gives pre-k kids a head-start on education!

As kids play educational games, they earn rewards to decorate their treehouse and backyard. The learning games unlock even more games that let them tinker and explore in their own way.

Includes simple and fun hands-on educational activities that parents and kids can do together, extending the STEM fun to home and everyday materials.

Great skills but not enough games

My daughter just turned 3, we love this app. No ads, which is very important to me. I see a lot of ppl complaining about a sound issue but we didn’t have that trouble. I was worried that she would be too young to understand science concepts but the ideas in the games are simplified for young minds and presented in fun ways. Perfect intro to problem solving skills. But I wish there were more levels! She just finished the three different games (Thing1&2 with the slides, the dragon with building bridges, and a ram with the sorting game) I thought finishing the sorting game would unlock a new one but it didn’t. Overall there was enough game time for it being free but I guess we’re finished with what it has to offer.

Great app - take your phone off silent for sound

It took us a while to figure out how to use the sound. But my daughter did a good job exploring without it which was good to learn rather then told what to do. Now we have the option to try first and then turn the sound on if we need help!
