We know you like to browse the web when you’re on the go. That’s why Opera Touch features a fast web search interface and is designed to make it easy to browse with only one hand. It’s a browser so good, it won a Red Dot Award for its user interface design.
When you start Opera Touch, the browser is instantly ready to find things on the web. Just start typing. When you have found a QR code, simply use the browser to scan it and go to the website it links to. You can also use Opera Touch to scan a barcode on a product to look it up online.
*Designed to be used on the go*
Opera Touch lets you explore the web using just one hand. The Fast Action Button is always available on your browser screen and gives you direct access to your Instant Search. You can also hold and swipe the button open to switch to your most recent tabs, reload or close the page or send the current tab to your computer in Flow.
*Create your own Flow for the things you find online*
Use Opera Touch on your iPhone together with your Opera computer browser for seamless web browsing across your devices. It’s operating system independent, so you can connect your iPhone with your Mac, Windows or Linux computer.
In fact, connecting your iPhone and other devices with your computer browser has never been easier. Just start the Opera computer browser and scan the QR code displayed there with Opera Touch. No login, password or account needed. You can now send links, videos and notes to yourself with a single click and they will be displayed across your devices.

Thanks for choosing Opera Touch! This release introduces private mode, voice search and better iPad support. In the menu, you’ll find the function to translate web pages. Last but not least, there are bug fixes, visual changes to make Opera Touch look better, and stability fixes.
Ratings and Reviews
Super close to where it needs to be.
I know my cons seem longer than my pros but this is a great start to a chrome replacement and once the cons are fixed I’ll be switching from chrome entirely.
Pros: connect to my computer easily, animations, interface, seems stable (although I haven’t opened more then 5 pages at a time)
Cons: have to hold down navigation button at the bottom (just tapping it to open the same menu would be fine or integrating 3D Touch to make the process faster), haven’t found a “add to bookmarks” or a bookmarks location and would be a great addition (this for sure can’t replace chrome until this happens), no SpeedDial (adding SpeedDial that can communicate with my pc browser instead of the current home page would be awesome), tabs from pc and phone are in the same place (it’d be nice to have a separate button to search through each and it just feels crowded with both in one UI page)
Fantastic! But needs work.
Before this browser was released, I was waiting at least a year for a usable opera browser on IOS, as opera mini is way outdated and no longer supported. After the release trailer came out for this browser I was so excited! As I heard someone say before, “the only flaw to opera browser on PC is there is no browser on IOS”. This is so true for people like me, who need easy transfer going back and forth from a computer and an iPhone. With all that said, this is a fairly new browser that has some cool features, but it really is missing a lot of features. I’d just like to see features added that opera PC has, especially to make the transfer even more seamless. Such as bookmarks, speed dial, password manager, etc...
WHAT WIZARDRY IS BEHIND THIS TOUCHY SWIPE THINGY?
Good app for the kind of adventurous user that likes to get thrown into an app and left to figure out what Witchery is behind it all.
Actually I have no idea who would like this. Personally, this pretty much sums up my UX so far: awkward.
Im guessing this app was made by a wizard, voodoo priest, or tarot card deck that makes the app work rather than having boring AI run things. There’s no comprehensive onboarding so you are left with an app that centered on touch and swipe actions without a clue as to what you touch and swipe to make stuff do things. The concept of the whole touch based navigation widget is cumbersome! You REALLY gotta push and hold in order to use the thing. You can’t even customize it. In fact you can’t customize ANYTHING. No interface settings. You’re stuck. With this awkward button press thingy widget, a “homepage” of your most visited web page icons that you cannot alter, and a mysterious “My Flow” function, which questionably syncs your data somehow to your other chosen device.
I’m giving this app 8 more hours to live on my iPhone and then I’m giving it back up to the mysterious forces of.. deletion.
