** This app does not sample any PCM-based synths, including Roland or Korg digital keyboards. Additionally, this app does not have any business relationship with Roland, Korg, or any other 80s/90s Digital Synth manufacturers.
*** All app sounds were created by pure analog and fm synthesis. We took these new sounds. Stacked them. Flipped them. And, processed the heck out of ’em. Resulting in a beautiful new sonic palette for you to enjoy.
You're Awesome! BIG UPDATES in this Version:
+ Now accepts MIDI Bank changes via MSB:
Use your MIDI controller or DAW to select presets!
+ Preset Handling Upgrades
Cycle through preset categories with left-right buttons at the top (i.e. Keys, Pads, Alphabetically, Favorites, etc)
+ Bank Numbers added in preset listings
+ YOU CAN NOW HIDE THE KEYBOARD ON CERTAIN PANELS
Hide/Show the keyboard on the Layers Panel, Presets Panel, and PCM Panel to expose more.
More panels coming soon... You'll see a new Hide Keyboard button to the right of the "Link" button on certain panels
PLUS, NEW FEATURES YOU HAVE EMAILED US REQUESTING:
+ Returns knob position to target after turning LFO off
What does that mean? Set the Layer Mix knob to 50%, then turn on the LFO for that knob. When you turn off the LFO for that knob, the knob will now return to your original 50% setting. That makes it easier to dial in LFO targets.
+ Tremolo Bypass, if the tremolo depth is 0, tremolo will be completely bypassed
+ All PCM sound sources are now listed in the Layer panel spinners
Some of you let us know that you like to play a game called "Sound Roulette", where you spin the spinners and see what sound it lands on. Sounds fun. And, we endorse that type of behavior!
+ We've received all your ideas/bug emails and we're working on everything.
+ Some of you have experienced bugs with the Arp/Sequencer and glitches/slowness. We are working on it – Stay tuned!

Ratings and Reviews
Great Synth by a Great Company
Not only is the synth itself really amazing, but it does a great job combining an old technology in a new way. Makes really great pads naturally but also can be used for some faster funky stuff too. The AudioKit team is very responsive to bug reports and is committed to fixing everything they can.
This is a great synth but also realize all the proceeds go to supporting the open source effort of AudioKit. They make free synths for everyone and they provide a free platform to help people make their own audio applications to their apps. I’d get the synth just to support that effort, but it also happens that this is a very nice one of a kind synth for iOS.
Sweet incredible retrotastic glory!
This synthesizer is perfect. The controls are laid out intuitively, the occasionally self deprecating commentary is… Well, we are all right there with you, little synthesizer. And the sounds! It’s like a guided tour of what the ‘90s were trying to be. An encapsulated anachronism tuned for the modern ear. Incredible. Useful. Perfect.
This app is dramatically underpriced. I don’t know what the regular price will be after launch, but for five bucks I feel like I stole this. It would be a deal at $50. If they make this as a plug-in for Logic, hopefully they’ll charge a more reasonable, and much higher, price. (Note to devs: PLEASE DO THIS.)
Fantastic, with a Promising Future
Not enough superlatives can describe how beautifully crafted this synth is. What’s more, the development team behind it is a group of wizards who do not *ever* sleep or leave their workstations—I’m sure it’s unhealthy for them on several emotional/mental/physical levels, but they’re putting out pretty much **daily** patches/fixes/features, so I’m going to feign ignorance and just bask in what is very quickly becoming my go-to synth. Do yourself a favor if you make music: purchase immediately.
