...for this app. I’ve tried all kinds of fancy writing software and this is really just what I needed. I use it on my iPad with a small Bluetooth keyboard to transcribe and create new notes and quickly sync them to Dropbox.
My only trouble has been that when I navigate between multiple files too many times, the app slows to a crawl and I have to reboot it. It hasn’t been losing any of my edits so it’s not a big deal, but I do a lot of hopping around between files so maybe it could be strengthened in this respect.
Really fab overall.
I love the ability to browse and access plain-text files from almost any source! I'm a big user of Dropbox and I have it locked with Face ID on my XS Max iPhone and although other apps don't have a problem with accessing Dropbox, TapEdit says:
"Passcode Lock is Enabled... Files cannot be used with a passcode. If you would like to use Files, please open Dropbox and disable Passcode Lock."
I can't disable my Dropbox security, maybe there's some other way TapEdit could access Dropbox like the other apps do?

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry but I can’t solve the inaccessible problem with Dropbox password is activated because Dropbox app doesn’t allow access from document based app like this app, Pages app or Keynote app when Dropbox password is activated.
Plain text, Dropbox, and it actually works!
The missing app on iOS. Everything else has been something of a work-around with poor syncing. This one actually works!
