Helps me sleep

This is my favorite app for relaxing and falling asleep. I like that it only downloads the sounds I want. I marked as favorites the 12 sounds I use most, so I choose from favorites instead of wondering if something is already downloaded. Most sounds I would never use, I don’t find them relaxing. But everyone can pick the ones they want! I also like that I can set the timer and it works every time I start a loop without resetting the timer - I don’t like being bothered with timer settings when going to bed. Sound quality is very good, makes it feel like I’m there on the beach or in a cabin in the woods or laying in the grass next to a stream. Well done, thank you!

Suggestions:
1. Is there any way to have the sound fade out slowly, starting a minute or two before it would stop? I think the sudden drop in volume wakes me up when the timer runs out.
2. Most sounds have a noticeable break at the end of the loop. Would it be possible start a new instance of a loop before first one ends, and fade it in while fading out the current loop? The cross fade would make loops more seamless.

Good idea

Badly initiated. So few choices, first of all. The world is large, your sounds are few! And, it would matter immeasurably if it said WHERE the sound was taped! Where ARE we? We get numerous photos of beaches. WHERE? Water hitting sand is pretty generic unless we know we’re in Maui. We need to know not only the KIND of sound being generated and recorded, but how, where and why? TITLES like, “An Icelandic glacier melting”. “A beach in Santa Monica”. “A storm off Cape Cod, MA, USA”. What is the POINT otherwise? Now it’s just a noise machine with photos. Generic photos. I have traveled the world and know the hushed, active tingle of the wind passing through the Mayan ruins in Cancun. The many sounds; sails ruffling, water shifting, ropes twisting, as a large sailboat circles the Komodo Islands. The cacophony of children’s voices experienced by visitors to Timbuktu. The voices of THOUSANDS of seals sunning themselves off the Skeleton Coast in Namibia. The overwhelming a-train-is running-you-over sound of a Cape Cod Nor’easter. What is the POINT of just showing us tight shots of woods and beaches if we don’t know WHERE THEY ARE? Every photo NEEDS context. An explanatory paragraph. What YEAR were the sounds recorded? Do reps from your app travel to specific places or do they just press “record” on their iPhones when they’re in the back yard?
You are ONTO something, but SO FAR OFF.

Developer Response ,

So, thanks for review, not plain to add titles, because I need to translate this on 8 languages, good translation are expensive 200$ per language (app interface and AppStore description) many days spend to find photo of place where sound was actually recorded, some used photos from authors who recorded this sounds. I spend 8 weeks to create design, icon, interface, coding, collect and match levels and optimize loops of sounds, contact with authors, search photos. Sorry my English is bad. But any way so much work for this money, I get only 150$ per year from this app with 4.7 average rating, is ok for you? Or you think is good profit for any level swift/objective-c developer, designer? Or you think it I can make subscriptions 10$ per day to make it profitable?

Nature sound review

Brilliant app. Kudos to the developer. Anyone who wants the name of locations were where the sounds were recorded, dates, the camera used, the name of the photographer... let us see your talent in creating an app.

You can’t please everybody, there will always be people out there to rain on the parade. Ignore the negative critics, they are a bunch of sad people.
