Description
PhotoExporter allows you to export your photos library anywhere at original quality. You can choose any location you want, including network and external drives. PhotoExporter will automatically download files from iCloud as needed and keep your export up to date as photos and videos are added to your library. Having a backup that you own will give you peace of mind that your photos will always be safe and can even be used as a way to free up space in iCloud.
PhotoExporter also runs in the background to keep your export up to date with any changes to your Photos Library. As new photos or videos are added, they will be automatically added to your export. No need to scan through the entire library every time!
PhotoExporter can also export Shared Albums, allowing you to export photos your friends and family have added.
Exports include all photos, live photos, and videos at original quality and with original filenames and attributes.

When going to Preferences the export buttons are greyed out. The only time it shows things I can export is when i check the Shared Albums option, but I want to export ALL my photos and albums.
UPDATE: I realized I had to click the Update button so that it would sync all my photos. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here now; updated the review title and rating accordingly.
Amazing!
Does exactly what it says. Efficiently backs up my entire Photos library to an external drive. Well worth the money and highly recommended!
Does not work
Downloaded app and installed. Clicked on app in Launchpad and got "Preferences" screen but after selecting preferences and closing window I get nothing. App just seems to stop. There is no system icon on top right of screen. App is not listed as active when I open "Force Quit." Tried to open app again and.....nothing. Can't find an active link to support. Would avoid this app!! Running app on Macbook Pro and Sonoma OS.
