Quit It is a tiny motivating program, supporting and encouraging smokers to quit smoking and helping ex-smokers to stay quit.
It keeps track of the cigarettes you did not smoke and how much money you are saving. Furthermore it shows the benefits of quitting as text and calculates a nice ranking for you.

Please note that the app will ask you about receiving push notifications. Accept it if you want to get notified when you accomplished a new achievement. The push notifications in this app are locally - no network bandwidth involved, no website or server will be contacted.
What's New in Version 4.7
This update adds one of the most requested features: if you slipped and smoked but only had one cigarette, you can log it now in the app with date and comment. Smoking one cigarette doesn't mean you've relapsed but be aware that this could be a dangerous feature for your mindset. Make sure to read the hints within the app.
If a goal is achieved, you can now see since when.
Improved today widget refresh after changing one or more goals.
So helpful to actually see progress, money saved and especially the number of cigarettes NOT smoked. It's a different perspective when you realize 7 cigarettes a day (not that bad, right?) is actually 60 (!) in under 9 days!!! The money savings is pretty powerful too. Monthly cost adds up to a massage membership which is a lot better for me than smoking! (I smoked American Spirits, organic-super pricy).
Quit it APP
This is an excellent tool specifically for individuals who like to see progress. Turning to check an app for the amount of time you haven't smoked instead of reaching for another cigarette is quite a feeling. I highly recommend this app for anyone who has even thought of quitting smoking, you know for when you're ready to quit.

Quit It provides the perspective you need to create tangible positive results from quitting smoking in the form of data. The data becomes a motivator to continue down the path of remaining a non-smoker. Alcohol has the twelve step program... well smoking has the Quit It app.
