"So awesome, I like how it takes the names from your contacts and uses them for the patients names you save. Really fun and innovative game for the iPhone. I'd pay more than $1.99 for it."

Not bad of a game, but repetitive
The premise is simple, and pretty addicting in itself: Tilt your phone and move the white dot around the screen to cut off tissue. What you try to do is trap the viruses on a smaller peice to cut it out of the patient's system, and adding on to that the viruses moving around, shooting out other viruses, powerups, increasing dificulty, and the games just plain fun.
There are a couple drawbacks to the game though. The fact that you can't listen to your own music, and the music played is just annoying, after a while you'll be pretty sick and tired of it. You can always turn the music off, but isn't music what the ipod's for? The cutscenes are the same scenes over and over again, which again makes it repetitive. The gameplay stays the majority the same, but adding difficulty and powerups as you go on. Another maybe cool feature would be the patients being from your contacts, I have an itouch so I didn't get to experience this, so I have nothing to say about that.
All in all, this game is definatley a buy for only a buck. It will guarenteed keep your attention for a while, because the game is just fun.
should be free
using the contact list as patients gets you involved but it is flawed. I ran out of contacts and it started generating names but the dialog from the other doctors still refers to them as your acqaintance. should integrate fake names earlier in game and it should only assosiate certain dialog with your actual contacts.
the cutscene grafics and the music are good and gameplay is smooth but the game is too repetitive. there is are only a few cut scenes that constantly repeat and the objective is the same every time only the number and size of the viruses increases with rank.
every new set of patients has a 24hr real time experarion timer so if you don't play everyday patients die and you get demoted and that is just annoying.
also I may be rusty on my biology but the infected cells are block shaped. wouldn't that make the patient a plant?
and haven't these doctors discovered antibiotics or any type of antiviral. atleast an antibiotic could kill the "bacteria" that give you problems when you are fighting the virus. and where do these people come from that they have 3 or so active viruses and bacterial infections. is this an aids clinic?
Good game with serious flaws
The game is a very good looking and polished game for the price level. It would have been a 4 star game if it were not for 2 major flaws. The use of a 24 hour clock that runs even when you are not playing is very bad for a portable game. Penalizing a player just because they don't play it every single day is very poor game design. The other major problem is the dificaulty curve. Not a lot of thought and/or work went into it. The game chugs along at a slow increase in dificulty as you progress though the levels. Then all of a sudden the speed and numbers of enemies on screen jumps dramatically. What makes this worse is that it jumps to a level that is simply too much given the slow and inacurate tilt controls on the iPhone/iPod. Around the point you reach apx 15 patients cured it simply becomes pure luck to actually save a patient since the tilt controls are too slow and inaccurate to allow the precision cuts needed when there are 7 or 8 fast moving and fast firing enemies on screen.
