There are a lot of good calculator applications such as pCalc in the App Store, but none like this one. As the name suggests this is a calculator that Miscalculates. However, you can train it to be get more and more accurate.
Use it like a regular calculator but be watchful of the results. If you think the result is wrong, you can challenge it by shaking it (or touching the not-equal-to symbol that pops up).
If the result was wrong when you challenge it, Miscalculator gets little more accurate the next time. If the result was right and you wrongly challenged it, then Miscalculator gets confused and less accurate next time.
When the accuracy goes to 100%, it always gives right answers.
What can you do with this?
- You can use it as an education tool to hone your calculation skills.
- You can use it as a gag on friends by letting them use it to calculate the tips etc.
What's New in Version 1.2.1
- New icon
- New preferences page
I like it but...
I think it needs a new look. The calculator should look more proffesional, and have more buttons when turned landscape mode, sort of like the built in calculator the iPod comes with. Mybe there could be an option for switching between different types of calculators. I'm in geometry, so this calculator how it is right now can't really help me or trick my friends. Great idea on the app, but please put in the option for different types of calculators with accelerometer enabled features.
This is a really cool app. Genius!
Good and all but now it keeps crashing om me
