Epicurious Recipes & Food Videos
By Condé Nast Digital
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
One of the best food apps of all time is back and brand new for iOS 10! The all-new Epicurious app makes it even easier to find the world’s best recipes, watch incredible food videos, and cook delicious meals.
Our top-to-bottom overhaul includes weekly content updates to inspire you, along with videos of your favorite recipes. You can still explore over 35,000 tested recipes from publishers like Bon Appetit, Gourmet, HarperCollins, and more, plus recipe reviews and ratings from home cooks like you. We’ve refreshed all of your favorite features and added a few new ones, like:
Latest Recipe and Video Feeds: New content added every day — never miss another new recipe or video.
Recipe Box: Save your favorite recipes so that they’re only a tap away.
Shopping List: Easily create shopping lists on the fly.
Smart Kitchen Timer: Know exactly how long it takes to cook salmon, chicken, and 40+ other items — without a recipe.
Seasonal Ingredients Finder: Eat local and find out what foods are fresh at farms near you right now.
Ingredients Toggle: New mode lets busy cooks view ingredients with just a tap of a button — no need to scroll.
What's New in Version 6.2.3
- Fix search crashes.
- Minor bug fixes.
One of the worst apps for a great website
Dear Epicurious, I strongly suggest that you eliminate your app altogether, particularly if you cannot keep it functional. That, or fire whoever is maintaining it for you and replace them with a qualified company. Adding all of your advertising to the app was bad enough, but now your app fails nearly every time I try to use it, booting me out before I can even finish typing in the search bar. Seems to me that if you are trying to attract people to your site, you would want to have this app fixed. In this day and age, any company that relies so heavily on consumers (pun intended) would insist that the app be top notch -- millennials rely on apps and you are carving yourself (ha ha) out of a huge potential future market. Zero rating--don't waste your time with this app, use the website instead.
Very enjoyable to browse and cook from.
The emails are very well put together and an escape to read after those days. It's quite easy to save an interesting recipe to your app recipe box from the email. However it seems that interesting articles can't also be saved to either the recipe box or elsewhere in the app. For now it's browser bookmarks that are a poor choice. Do keep coming back to this one after trying so many other related apps available.
Love Epicurious; don't love the app!
I use Epicurious almost exclusively when searching for recipes but I am so fed up with the way they display search results on the phone app- you can't see the title of the recipe so you have to click each one to find out more. Also, navigating is so much more cumbersome than the previous version. I'm also disappointed with the desktop version but it is far superior to the app. Any chance you'll improve it?
