Simple and effective, if you want to learn

I cannot understand the bad reviews...

Of course the music notes are identified correctly!

Didn't the "reviewers" stop to think, just for a moment, that maybe he was wrong!

My guess is he did not pay attention to the clef symbol. Both G and F clefs are used here, in other words: the treble staff and the bass staff, as used for piano music(and for most other instruments).

As many of us did, I took piano lessons many years ago, then stopped. Now I want to return to piano, and I find the first requirement is to refresh my music reading skill (long forgotten).

If you are in a similar state, download the free version and give this a try, it does exactly as it claims. I am about to buy the full version, determined to put in some work.

If you want an easy game, don't bother, but if you want to learn a skill, reading music, this just might be right, gotta put in some effort to play the piano. Lessons are so often wasted on children because most don't want to put in effort for a future pleasure. Well, I'm not a child any longer, by a great many years, but not too old to learn. And, I hope to enjoy new accomplishments. Good luck to you too...

This is okay...

Hmm. I'm not loving it. It would be better if you could choose which clef you were studying. Also, it has the same order of notes every time. So when you lose - which is also a stupid feature - you go back and do the exact same thing! And it should talk you through the notes as well. I am probably going to delete this, nice idea for an app, though.

This app is very poor

This app is a complete waste of time, even being free. You will not learn to read music. You might memorize the sequence in which the notes appear on screen, but since they appear in exactly the same sequence every time that is all it will be: memorizing the order of appearance. Also, having to enter your name everytime the game times out is very annoying. Please do us all a favor and remove this app from the store, it is very weak.
