Immediately Regret Purchase

Purchase and install on iPad. Fire up and go to perform a basic search with a known answer. Search comes back with nothing found. Keep trying search at higher and lower levels (chapter to para, to subpara), still no luck. Find that at the subparagraph level the document has been parsed into segments that you can neither search across nor scroll to the next segment of document. For example, you are at the end of paragraph 2.106 you apparently can't scroll to paragraph 2.107 - you have to back out a couple levels, select 2.107 then dive down to the text not sure if you have gone to the next segment.

Who knows if these problems are real? The on line support page does not provide any instructions and the user interface is not intuitive.

I should have stayed with the Adobe PDF file I downloaded from the GPO website. At least it is something I recognize.

Was an Excellent... Now subscription

As with most stuff, it seems greed kicks in sooner or later. Updated data is now subscription-based. I guess 30/yr isn't the end of the world, but when I first bought it updates were free. Not cool.

Former review:

As a broadcast radio tech "engineer", having the rules available in my phone, and easily searchable is well worth the app cost. The app has recently been updated. If they keep is updated fairly often there is no reason to pay rules service companies for the desktop computer version. I'd rather have it in the iPhone anyway.

Quality and consistency.

As a professional, this app has saved me in my work in radio. It's accurate, has timely updates, and is totally worth the hassle it has saved me. If you're serious in the industry, I would highly recommend it.
