Pong meets the demo scene
If you remember Amiga demos of old, this might seem familiar: unique little arcade games in the loaders of cracked commercial games. This totally hardens back to that era; dead simple, addicting, and just fun, you're always trying to beat your last score. Drag controls are definitely the batter, though they could have been further improved with acceleration - if you think dragging you finger across an iPhone is annoying, try a whole iPad.
Unfortunately, while the levels are all awesome and full of surprises, the endless mode is extremely repetitive and largely the same scenes repeated. Not sure why that is.
Sadly, it seems abandoned despite still having some bugs that lead to constant crashes at the end of various levels. It's fun to play, but keep in mind that it's basically unwinnable. 4 star because it's still quite fun; give it a shot, for only a buck the full version is pretty good too.
Original gameplay and good fun, but can get repetitive
It's a fairly fun game. What's especially interesting here is that it feels like a new type of gameplay, which is pretty hard to do these days! It's a solidly fun game that has a good arcade feel to it.
The main down side is that it feels like it gets a bit repetitive. Additionally, it could use a bit of artistic flair -- the style feels like the iPhone game 'Edge' minus the interesting art.
The graphics are what we old-timers experienced when I used to program in BASIC for the Atari computer. It is so simple that it doesn't need higher resolution, however. Try it, you might like it.
It sure wastes a lot of pixels in my iPad, though.
