Minor bug fixes.
Terrific app, best in the AppStore!
I have tried at least a dozen other Sudoku apps, and found this app to be superior to them all! It is absolutely the very finest Sudoku at the AppStore. The options, color choices, and impressive variety of games is excellent. I'm very impressed and I will stick with this Sudoku from now on. Nice work, Jason!
Just one little thing,...if you decide to offer a $1 deal to delete ads, please let me be the first one to plunk down 4 quarters. I hardly ever spend money on apps, but I'd give you $1 so fast it would make your head spin! Unfortunately, if it was $2, you'd be working against my cheap-meter. Sorry.
I find myself working sudoku whenever I come across a puzzle. And this app lets me work an infinite number of puzzles whenever I want. The included puzzles come in quite a variety of difficulties. And the tutorials help me learn to solve more and harder ones.
I like that I can quickly add a puzzle with the Scan feature. No more abandoning a half-done puzzle when it's time for my appointment or the plane has landed. If someone else has started it, I can enter it by hand, too. (But then I don't get a time result.)
Some of my friends were concerned about the "pencil" notes. They said they had a system for entering them. In every case, it turned out that the system in Sudoku Joy was the same as the one they used.
I have been using the free version for over a year. The ad field across the top catches my eye, but doesn't ever interrupt play.
The Best Teacher
The tutorial and in the system are what really sets this app apart for me. I can stay at the same level with the solving techniques I know for as long as I want, but when I want to learn new more complex solving techniques the app takes me through it step-by-step, gives me the puzzle that uses that technique specifically, and then I'm ready for a new difficulty level. I've been using it for years and I don't plan to stop.
