Sudoku is an addictive game of numbers and logic. Played on a grid of 81 squares, the goal is to create a grid in which the numbers 1 through 9 appear once (and only once) in every row and column as well as in each of the nine smaller groups of nine squares. Sound easy? Wait until you get to the Genius level!

Good game - needs improvement
I first got sucked into Sudoku on my BB and had made my way quite high on the high score list (top 100 of over 100,000 players) when I switched to the iPhone. Very disappointed that I essentially had to start over.
The software is a little buggy - often does not connect to network, and I have to shut it down and restart the program to correct. Also I hate the it responds slow when I complete a row, column, block or set of numbers - it seems to be checking it for me even though I turned off that feature. I don't know how some players get times faster than 4 minute - as that is as long as it takes me to simply enter the numbers due to response times of the software.
Regardless, I'm hopelessly addicted and will continue to play all 5 games per day.
Good...but could be better
Two suggestions to improve this app:
1. Add a calendar similar to the NY Times crossword app so that older daily puzzles can still be accessed after the release of new puzzles.
2. Multi tasking! Why doesn't this app continue to run in the background? The app does not load quickly and it's annoying having to restart every time you leave a puzzle.
Oh ya, one more comment. Most Super and Genius puzzles cannot be solved with just logic. The puzzles typically lead to several squares being narrowed down to two possible numbers, and solving requires a guess in one of these squares. It seems that Genius is at least partly made up of Luck and Patience.
I have been using this app for almost 2 years
It worked well enough till last week when it quit on me for no apparent reason. When I select a game, the app exits. All the other issues people complain about are true but I still enjoyed it. Two weeks ago it would have been 4 stars but today it's being demoted.
