THE ULTIMATE SWING ACTION GAME, 'Spidey Riley', JUST ARRIVED TO APPSTORE, GET IT WHILE IT'S HOT!
In FastBall, you control a rolling ball. In his way, there are many obstacles and his only ability is to jump. This is where he needs you, you'll make him jump by tapping the screen.
With this simple mechanic, FastBall contains 60 action packed progressive levels + 3 marathon levels. Through the levels, you'll need a good timing, pure attention as well as decisions on which path to follow to reach the level end.
It is easy to play and easy to enjoy....
What's New in Version 1.2.2
- Fixed Level 54 issue.
- Added new content to "Progressive" mode which makes the total level count 60.
- OpenFeint upgrade to 2.4.10.
Great concept, good game, laggy as all get out
I bought this game because I purchased FastBall 2 and absolutely loved it. I figured this one would be much the same, perhaps a bit more primitive. To all you potential customers: get FastBall 2, NOT this one. If, like me, you’re thinking about picking this one up as a result of playing FB2, don’t bother until they’ve fixed their performance issues.
The main problem I have is that every fourth or fifth jump, the game stalls for a fraction of a second. I'd say 75% of the losses I've experienced have been because the game lags fractionally, and when the renderer catches up with the real frame position, I'm 2 pixels away from an obstacle.
Now, admittedly, I'm *only* using a 3Gs, so maybe it’s positively glorious on an iPhone 4, but since I just played FB2 start to finish without so much as a hitch (a game which includes sound effects, animated obstacles and more sophisticated animation), I’m disinclined to believe it’s a hardware issue. I’ve gone so far as to do a full memory dump (167MB free afterwards), and I’m STILL getting lag spikes.
So Simple.. yet so infuriating!
Seconds to learn, hours to complete! That is how this game-like so many others-work so well. However, what separates this game from the others is the clean graphics, minimal bugs, and the ease of play.
The game itself is simple... tap to jump over and past obsticles. However, this is where the simplicity ends, as this game becomes progressivly chalenging. With sixty fun-filled levels, this is a dollar well worth spending.
Best entertaining app ever
Overall this game is fun, entertaining, addicting, and just the best. If ur tring to decide to get this app or not I say just go for it. It is hard u can't give up cause u will fail a LOT but if u keep playing you'll atleast pass a level each day like I did. This game is in my top four hands down.
