What's New in Version 1.4
iOS 4.2 compatibility
I really like this game, almost as much as I like Elementz. The only resin I gave this app 4 stars was because when you get this app you, you think you have the full version but you don't!! Unlike Elementz where you can play all game modes WITHOUT paying anything, you have to pay a dollar to fully enjoy this game witch is crap. Why can't they make it free like Elementz?!?! Only then will I give 5 stars.
I just noticed something. Is there a reason why the endurance was removed from the app I paid for, the app was made free, and I am now charged TWO MORE DOLLARS to get back what I already paid for??!
That's a double whammy. I paid...what?...$2 or $3 for the initial game-which is now free to everyone else...that came with all three versions: timed, endurance and tutorial...then you turn around and make me buy back what I already had!!
This stinks, DEVS! Can I email you my addy so you can give me a code to redownload the endurance? I like this app, but I don't like DEVS treating their most loyal players like trash like this.
It's these in-app purchases that got the DEVS greedy for more money. Would I have bought the plugin if it wasn't already there and especially if I hadn't already paid for it? Most likely so! If I'm treated right, I'll buy other apps from you. You make good games. But you don't have good iPodside manner. My ethics trump recreation. I'm willing to give the entire game up and Facebook all this when I'm being taken advantage of. There are other games that are just as good, and even better, that can replace this app. I love to play it, and I get caught up in it for hours when I do play it...but as you can see, it took me a while to discover this issue. So I can do without for principle's sake.
Did you pull the same stunt with Elemenz? Sheesh.
It's been months since my last reply (before Thanksgiving), and when I came in here, lo and behold, my review was still first. What the heck? This is a great game, Guys!
I have an iPod 3 64 gb, and iPhone 4 32 gb. I have almost 1000 apps on the iPod (no kidding!), but half the space on the iPhone limits my games. The only apps I download on the iPhone are apps not applicable on the iPod (i.e., phone, camera and mic based apps), and the top notch apps I had on the iPod that I don't want to do without. This and Elementz made the cut.
One distinguishable difference from the others is the varied foursome tile action when matched with three. You can predict the actions by the images on the tiles. For instance, the crow is slanted, and the destroyed tiles are slanted. Each color also has it's own sound. I love the crow's sound best.
The same features are applied to the sister game, Elementz.
You really must download it to understand it.
This is one of those games that the score is meaningless; the play is fun in spite of the score.
The only glitch I see on the iPod and iPhone is the music disappears after the first game on. But go into settings, turn off the music, turn it on again, and it's fine. But we shouldn't have to do that.
The play trumps the glitch, so I give it five stars. Also its underrated, so I'm trying to boost the average a bit.
The DEVS need to advertise more, because my review at the top all these months indicates the lack of downloads.
I've always loved ElementZ, which is like Bejeweled...so I knew I would like this app. The difference between ElementZ and this is that instead of swapping jewels, you line up jewels by sliding entire rows. If you like Chuzzle (GET IT!!) then you'll like this game. Only difference (well, there's a LOT, but only annoying diff) is that you can only slide one space at a time. Chuzzle allows endless slides. But this is still fun. It's challenging to move one space.
I was supposed to take hubby to work last night, and I was all dressed, except for a few things like makeup and shoes, etc.
So I picked up this game and totally lost track of time. Next thing I knew, it was five minutes past our departure time and I wasn't ready. Good thing I have a semi-patient husband.
Being close to Christx I have expenses now, but I want to get it.
