If you are looking for an app to track deliveries on iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch - Parcel is the best choice for you.
With this application you can promptly access tracking information for 300 delivery services, including UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT, LaserShip, Aramex, OnTrac, China Post, SingPost, vPost and many other postal services. Full list of supported carriers is available at: http://parcelapp.net/#services
Tracking data is collected on our server, so you will get it right to your device with a click of a button. Sometimes you won't even need to enter a tracking number, your can user barcode scanner which is available right in the app. With the unique carrier automatic recognition function, adding a new delivery is just a matter of seconds.
You can also locate your delivery on the map or manage your deliveries using Web Access (web.parcelapp.net) - easy and simple. Parcel has a native OS X app available for free in the Mac App Store.
Parcel utilizes the power of iOS to provide you the best possible user experience. You can use Notification Center widget to see expected deliveries for today or tomorrow or share extension to add a new delivery directly from any other app.
Push notifications provided by Parcel are more convenient than from any other app. They are being sent only from 8am to 10 pm according to your timezone, so you will not be bothered at night (however, you can disable this option in the settings).
If you want to use push notifications or track more than 3 deliveries at the same time - you can subscribe to the premium subscription right in the app for $2.99 per year.
If you have encountered a problem, please see FAQ in the app or email email@example.com (please include tracking number and carrier).
What's New in Version 4.1
We love updating Parcel with new features available in the latest iOS release every year. This year is not an exception!
• Find your delivery on map in notification details (iOS 10 required).
• See how far is your delivery from you in notification details (iOS 10 required). This option can be enabled in the app settings.
• New widget for today screen (iOS 10 required). The widget provides detailed information about your recent deliveries.
• Sometimes deliveries can have more than one carrier (international postgage is a good example of that). Parcel will suggest you to switch to destination carrier once it has tracking data. This feature is not yet available for all carriers with the full support to be available soon.
• Find on map feature is now far more accurate for those carriers who provide geographic coordinates for their deliveries.
Dozens of small improvements and bug fixes that you really should not waste time reading about :)
Before parcel my phone was cluttered with tracking apps
I live in a more remote area so I regularly have 5-20 things on order through various providers. Having applications for each courier and setting up notification widgets was the best I could stitch together before Parcel arrived. **Parcel saves your tracking numbers and nicknames and synchronizes them across all iOS and desktop Mac devices. It auto fills numbers from your clipboard, and has other neat features. There's not need to enter these long strings of numbers into multiple apps and devices with parcel. Before I tried parcel I tried other multiple courier service tracking applications, But one year license with parcel and I'm watching 20 parcels from FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, ePacket, and China Post on my iPad, iPhone, and Desktop and I only had to add them once. Very happy. One more note: I had an issue activating my license at first and they responded to my email questions within minutes and helped resolve the issue. Says a lot. Keep up the good work guys!
I've enjoyed using this app, which is my new go-to tracking app. It's easy to use, it self-updates quickly. It had a problem following through with one notoriously bad Chinese courier; so probably not the app's fault that once it arrived in Thailand it dropped off the radar. Despite that, they cover a huge amount of parcel companies, and I feel a 5-star rating is appropriate. An upgrade to more than 8 simultaneous trackings costs $1.99 per year, which I think is good value for money. A huge bonus is that the developer is incredibly responsive to suggestions, and when needed, quickly adds a carrier, and always emails back when the task is complete. I wish there were six stars to give him!
Everything seems fine
I used a tracking app before this one and one day it stopped working so I saw this one and tried it out.
This one has a nice polished look, it keeps track of my packages in a nice easy to read list, lists every movement the package makes, I like how you can view it on a map, and you can instantly load up the package on the regular website in case you don't trust the app.
Seems like it should totally be a free app. But in order to give something as simple as notifications for you on your package, you have to pay $2.99 a year. I know that's not a big amount but it all adds up with all the stuff I'm paying a month or paying a year. I'd rather not pay for such a simple thing. What's more, I wish it were a one time purchase.
