This is the one
This is by far the best calendar I've ever tried, and I've tried many. It's the one that should come on the phone, and it integrates seamlessly with the one that does, the native Calendar, as well as with Contacts, and thus with those apps on my Mac. It allows multiple calendars, so that I can look at any one category of events (Work, for example) uncluttered by others—(Personal, Medical, my wife's calendar, etc), or see any combination of calendars at once, all color-coded. It allows me to share events with others via Airdrop, text message, or email, with attachments that they can open in their calendars.
The variety of "Views"—List, Year, Month, Mini-Month, Agenda, Week (my favorite), and Day, are as simple and elegant in design as the Apple native app, but much more usable. For instance, the Week view shows the entire 7-day week at one glance in either portrait or landscape orientation. The List view lets me see all the events in a particular calendar on a chronological list, or to search and list only certain events: all my meetings with a particular client, for example.
I could go on listing great features—drag-and-drop editing, multiple event alerts, rolling events—but time is limited. I'll just end by saying this is the one app everyone should have.
Best calendar app I've found
I did a TON of research for the best calendar app and this one by far wins the contest. A few syncing issues while trying to link this calendar app with my gmail calendar, iPad, work Outlook calendar, and iCloud - but am sure it's some VPN issue (blame it on my work!). Automatically color codes when I type in certain words (i.e. - blue when I type in my son's name for an event, pink for my daughter, red for husband, yellow for whole family and default green for me). Month view is unparalleled. Only other issue is that I invite my husband to every single event because he's too lame to figure out how to sync his outlook with gmail (men!) and I have to manually type in his long email address with every invitation. Would prefer a short cut option of some kind - but they always do updates with user suggestions - so u never know! Worth EVERY penny! I'm neurotic about researching (among other things 😝) - so assure u that alive done the work for U already - just buy it. It's not like it's some game that you'll play occasionally. I use it every single day - so splurge with a couple bucks.
Can't function without it
This is the best calendar app I've seen or used. I had tried quite a few but none met all of my needs plus they were expensive and/or cumbersome to use. Categories are color-coded and set up easily by you with various view options to instantly see what the schedule is that day, week, or month. When combined with location monitoring (IF you choose that), it will tell you distances and (in iPhone os 9 or 10) will factor in general traffic conditions. Set up to 7 different timers of your choosing- these can be set automatically or manually and be relative to the start time (e.g. 20 min before), at exact times (e.g. at 10am), or both. The search function is easy to use. Templates and recurring events are very easy to schedule. There are just too many features to list them all, and none are overly complex or cumbersome to use. I've only ever given 5 stars two other apps. This one is that good.
