Star Lines is a fun-filled, fast paced and challenging interactive trade off game that allows a single player to move colored stars in order to make a three in a row set. While getting three in a row causes the player to remove the set and earn points, getting more than three stars also removes the entire selected group and earns the player more points. Star Lines encourages matching and strategy thought processes as the player is having fun building sets. In order to advance through the levels, the player must earn points while moving entire rows left and right or columns up and down in order to make a match of 3. When 5 or more stars are matched and cleared, the player receives a bonus piece. When the bonus piece is matched and cleared, all surrounding pieces in 3x3 grid are cleared as well. This bonus offers even more points. Each level gets progressively more challenging. From level 3, locks appear on pieces at random rendering the row or column immobile. The locked piece must be matched and cleared in order to remove it from the screen. To advance through the levels, players must earn an incrementally escalating amount of points. The game is over when there are no moves left, usually caused by too many locks on the board.
Features of Star Lines include:
- A volume on and off switch.
- Greater challenge as levels increase.
- The ability to purchase a version of the StarLines game without advertising.
- Limitless levels.

Ads are not that bad
Maybe mine is broken because I really didn't notice many ads. There are ads on the top banner that do not obstruct gameplay at all. I don't mind them. Then once in a while I would get a full page ad that allows you to click "skip". So again I don't mind. It's a free game people.
My only suggestion is to add a hint button for when you get stuck. Maybe also a progress bar so you know how many more points you need to reach the next level.
It's a fun match three game that gets more and more challenging and actually has an end. I hate the ones that go on forever. On this game, when I die I just want to play it again to see if I can get further. I like that they don't have to be three in a row either. Just as long as it's groups of three. (like an L shape).
Like all the previous reviewers explained, the ads kill the gameplay - sort of. I don't know if mine doesn't work properly but only ONCE have I experienced a full-screen popup ad, and it was before I started playing the actual game - I was on the TITLE SCREEN. There are ads, but they appear on the bottom or top of the screen, they're there for a few seconds, and they're tiny. Nothing to get steamed up over. So if you don't have the insane ad problem everyone else seems to have, this game is incredibly fun - and it gets really challenging once you get later in the game. Star Lines is great if you can appreciate gameplay and you can stand the somewhat annoying ads.
Adds randomly interupt gameplay CONSTANTLY
I have never played a game where right in the middle of making a move a full page add interrupts your move! This happens to me about 3 times a minute! Ridiculous !!!! I will be deleting game. Not worth the annoying adds even for free! As for people who say they just have a tiny banner like other games with ads... well good for them, but pretty hard to believe! If the maker of this game has set it up this way that only random players get the full annoying add interruption, well it's still not cool!!! Plus the game is not so fun as to put up with all this garbage! : (
