Customer Reviews

Best $4.99 I've spent in a long time

I've used both the Flickr app for the iPhone and the website, but they pale in comparison to this. There's literally no feature that I want that it doesn't have, and there's a nice amount of customizability as well. I've decided to try moving a lot of the photos that I used to store on the iPad over to Flickr, since I like having access to them but don't really need them all locally on the device at all times. This app allows me to browse them all very easily and even make sideshows, etc. without having to fill up the iPad's storage with photos. I think I even prefer the way it displays thumbnails to the iPad's Photos app. It has definitely earned a place in my iPad's "dock."

Wonderful Application and Customer Support

Not only is this a great little application, but the customer support is great too. I loved everything about the application from the very start - easy to maneuver throughout, etc.

The only problem I encountered had to do with lack of sound while viewing videos, but that problem eventually proved to be with my iPad only. But, what was great is that Martijn, with Flickr Studio, was patient and gave me many helpful and detailed suggestions over the course of several e-mails back & forth. Many thanks to him for that - can't ask for better support.
I highly recommend Flickr Studio !

Bad interface!

I don't understand why app developers look at these apps all day long, but design the most confusing, hard to learn interface possible. Why is there no obvious "edit", "delete", "select all", "upload" or "move" functions/buttons visible on the photo stream or other photo pages? These are three of the most common functions that a Flickr user could want and yet every single Flickr app out there makes the interface extremely ambiguous and sparce? You can't even find a help menu! If I were a developer, I would design circles around this interface and make it the easiest possible app to use, with larger, labeled, easy to access functionality buttons on every single photo page. I would put in a comprehensive help menu for users, and make the interface seemless.
