ACES UP PRO
Aces Up is a simple but fun and popular solitaire game.
The object is to discard all of the cards except for the Aces.
Aces Up is an easy game to play, but it is not easy to win. The average player wins only about 4% of the time. A good player can increase this rate. So, play a lot to become a good player.
WSK's Aces Up offers:
Aces Up Bonus - 10 Points for moving an Ace Up.
Deal Prompt with last Deal prompt
HOW TO PLAY!
Touch Deal Button to the start of the game, four cards are dealt in a row. Any card that is of lower rank and the same suit of another top card can be discarded for 1 Point. Aces are considered to be of the highest rank. If one of the four piles should become empty, you can move any top card from any of the other piles into the empty space to create more possible plays. When all possible cards are discarded or moved, touch the Deal Button for four more cards on top of the four piles.
The strategy in Aces Up is deciding what card to play into an empty space. It is best to try to find the card that will allow you to remove many other cards. Note that the only way to get at cards beneath an Ace is to move the Ace to an empty pile.

This game is okay. Young kids will enjoy it. You can tell when you are in a no win situation and there are no options other than to continue playing. Also the help button doesn't work.
Let's make it better...
I really like this game and can play it endlessly, but it does get a bit boring. A couple of suggestions to make it more challenging.
Remove the "deal" sign that automatically pops up when there are no more moves. Let the player figure it out for themselves.
And make it timed.
Those two options alone would make it more intriguing.
Pro: big cards, great game screen, easy to see and use
Con: help screen only accessible after game played, stat and help screen look unprofessional, no scoring descriptions (40+10 is no win, 43+10 is win, 30+20 is no win, 33+20 is win, why?)
Suggestion: add %win so we can compare to 4% average
Overall: GREAT basic game plan, no stupid power-ups, cheats etc as with another aces up game. If you don't need help or care about stats, really worthwhile purchase.
