Pretty, but gets boring quickly
This is no doubt a pretty game, and the best use for the backgrounds, animations, and music might be as a screen saver. As a game it has several problems. First, the virtual joystick is a terrible interface for moving the character, especially when slight movements or small changes in direction mean the difference between surviving and getting blown up. Second, the gameplay is incredibly repetitive—there's little difference between one level and the next. Lastly, rather than invest some imagination in making the game more challenging, the developers resort to cheap challenges—making the spaces you must pass through increasingly narrow and forcing you to make sharper, faster turns, and that might be OK, if the joystick interface wasn't so awkward and imprecise. I got very bored very quickly. A lot of graphics talent invested in a dull game.
Love this game, but....
I really love this game, and I would give it 5 stars, but there are some issues. Mainly when I get up into the higher levels. When I get into stage four, I start seeing square shapes. It's like the graphics aren't rendering in some spots. Can we please get this corrected? It sometimes causes problems, because it hides things we need to avoid. I really love this game, and I hope they make a sequel, but I really would like it if they could fix this problem.
what does the u.s. iTunes app store have against system optimizer apps, system memory refreshing apps, & battery boosting apps?
every time i find one that does it all, inevitably the app store phases it out.
these types of utilities are readily available in every other store, but not in the u.s. store.
it's as though apple doesn't want it's customers to be able to enjoy the benefits of this type of utility, and they don't have the right to decide that for their customers.
(and yet they have done just that)
hasn't anyone out there noticed this?
i cannot be the only person.
