By Christian Kienle
Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Drops, the ultimate tool for uploading files. Simply drop files or folders on the Drops icon in your menu bar. In a blink of an eye your files will be uploaded to your server and the URL copied to the clipboard. You can now simply paste the URL wherever you want. Drops can also automatically shorten the URL for you.

Changing my Review, Works as advertised
It doesn't work "as Expected" it sits in the top of your menu bar. nothing ever tells you that. bad documentation. The only way to upload a folder is zip unzip but that isn't too big of a pain. Other than that, you have to mark where you want thing to go with the heart … it has to love them. But it allows multiple hosts to be set up in advance.
All in all, int's not too bad … but it certainly isn't the good old ftp clients from 'old school' days … they are sorely missed everything is either underpowered or way too much and way overpriced. If you do a bit of ftp maintenance on a daily or weekly basis and are not hardcore manipulating the files, this should work for you.
Fast and Easy, almost PERFECT!
This really works well, and so far I have no issues, other than an occasional upload error when I drop the file. I would like to see the ability for file removal from the FTP site after an upload has been completed. It would also be nice to be able to copy the URL prior to the file being completely uploaded. This would make this app PERFECT. From one developer to anouther, VERY well done!
Jeeez tough crowd!
This thing is great. All these people are nuts ;) Seriously, if you have skype and a ton of people on your contact list, this is the best thing ever. I have been using it for over a year and have a nice and neat backup of EVERY file I have ever sent to someone. It's amazing.
