Better Yet

This is the third time I've reviewed this game in four years. It is much improved, and on the whole I liked earlier versions. It is still easy to find a game with three other people in generally less than 60 seconds. There used to be a huge problem with people leaving the game when they get behind (you know the kind of people who flip over a game board when they lose), and then a 60 second wait before a computer takes over the spot. By the way, the computer is a terrible player. Now when a person leaves there is about a 10 second wait before the computer takes over (and the computer is still a dumb player). The biggest problem seems to be four players and their wi-if connections, which is not the games problem, but the reconnection is definitely faster. This is my favorite game to play on line. I still have trouble telling red cards from black ... Certainly a problem with old eyes. suits. I wish there was a better statistical package.

New TERRIBLE design decisions

Update: Just installed the most recent update. Again, why can't the four players be on the four sides of the screen?!!!!!

-------

This was s good game with a few flaws. Now I'm dismayed at what is the second terrible update. My player is on the left side of the screen and the other players are in a row across the top. Then there's unnecessary clutter taking up screen space: large player images coupled with giant facedown hands that serve no purpose. To return to settings, there's a giant pause button where the east player should be. It's as if they have absolutely no idea how to design for usability. What has happened with the folks in charge of design? Incredible.

The game also constantly prompts me to rate it, which I've already done.

I know people complain about ads and lots of games, but it's really obnoxious that they pop up at the end of the game now before the win/lose message.

Also, the queen of spades shouldn't breaks hearts or at least it should be a preference setting.

Mice type hurts

There is room for larger print for the players' names, so why not make it easier to read? Even the score could be enlarged a little! The ranking is a real mystery - what is the criteria for moving up/down. Even the percent wins/losses doesn't follow logic. After playing any games, then losing 3 or 4 in a row, the percentage goes UP (sic) a point? And the game freezes too often, still. Overall, enjoy playing, and it isn't dull, for sure.
