Filed Complaint with the BBB

Kor10ee B

We paid for parking using QuickPay and received an email receipt confirming our parking was paid. However, we still received a parking ticket. At this point, no big deal, we’d dispute the ticket following the process on the ticket and move on.

The ticket was disputed following the proper channels and we received an email confirmation saying the dispute was received.

Several months later, I received a threatening letter from a debt collection attorney regarding the ticket that was PAID using QuickPay.

After calling and sending several emails to clear the matter with the debt collector and not receiving a response, I contacted QuickPay. They replied with one line saying they’d try to help “although this occurred months ago.” …As if this was my fault? I was APPALLED by their complete lack of customer service skills and professionalism in a situation, unresolved months later, that was a result of a failure between their app and the parking lots they service.

It wasn’t until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau that it seemed somebody in the broken system actually cared to assist.

I wanted to love this… but instead I hate it (so far)

It worked great for the first 3 times I used it. Then after that it started rejecting my payments, claiming my CC charge was denied. NOt so. Every time I re-validated my credit card (unbeknownst to me) it changed my CC another $1 while claiming it was denied! Then, after the upgrade I thought perhaps it was time to give it another try. It says my phone number is in use by another account (I'm not the only one complaining of this)… and then when I went in to check/update my CC info, it charged me ANOTHER $. They owe me somewhere between $6 and $15 so far. I'm NOT going to give them another try until they refund my account. This is a total waste of bits and of my time and money.

Needs tweaking

I used to able to enter the parking number remotely when my wife came to visit me at work. That feature doesn't seem to be available anymore so I have to go to the curb to scan the QR which defeats the purpose of remote entry. I also inevitably always seem to scan for the wrong vehicle in my list, and can't change it after the fact. That hasn't been issue yet, but is going to anger me when I get a ticket on my wife's parking because I accidentally paid on my car's plate only to realize it far away.
