Review Treasure Seekers II
I am guessing I fall between half and two thirds through playing this game. SO FAR, I am pretty happy. The game is NOT hard at all. Perhaps a bit toooo easy. I am very pleased with the amount of light in the scenes even at night. There are no dark and shadowing guesses to be made when looking for objects. The game has a good story line so far. The characters, while they are Dracula, a Werewolf, snakes, scorpions, bats, skeletons and spiders, they are NOT scary "friends". All in all I would suggest this game to anyone who understands that it is an adventure with "ghoulish-type" friends and it has a low end of difficulty level. I'm not sure how much I paid for it, but anything over $3.99 is to much.
My honest and sincere opinion.
Vast improvement over 1st TS
When I first started the original TS I was really disappointed. I felt like I was in a tutorial the whole time and as though I were walking through quicksand, everything was so slow and obvious. Toward the end of that game some of the hidden objects got more difficult to find, but still I wasn't impressed compared to other adventure/HO games.
This 2nd TS game is already faster moving, has better graphics and integration, and allows for return to previously visited sites to obtain clues. I'm only done with the first chapter but so far I am enjoying it much more.
Why did I buy the 2nd one after hating the 1st? It was discounted for one thing, and there were a lot of great reviews. I'm glad I gave it another chance. Haven't finished it so only 3 stars for now.
Treasure Seekers II
I am enjoying the G5 hidden objects games. The graphics are very crisp which helps a lot in HO games. The story element makes the puzzles more interesting than HO games that are just one scene after the other with an object list. I also like the key objects the hidden objects are gathered to use with. I was looking for something like DS Millionaire. These are similar but don't last as long. For the price comparison I think it comes out about even for game play time, though.
