Go back to the place where it all began, in the midst of a dreary night - the kind, the ghosts of our past (that come back to haunt us) find irresistible. Relive this poetic, frightening and sad tale of love and soul forever lost, in a charming new light.

With a powerful original musical score, that resonates deep within, and contemporary original art, that rivals some of the most expressive illustrations of the past - this is an experience you will never forget.

Awesome poem and app does it justice

To sum it up, this app reads the famous Edgar Allen Poe poem to you while moving artwork portrays the poem. You can also read the poem yourself as the artwork is displayed. The narrator reads the poem with passion and a worthy voice. The artwork is quite nice as well. I really look forward to future poems and stories done by the developer. A side note: my two year old son loves this poem and the artwork too!

Some criticism: I wish there was a page turning feature so you could skip pages. This way it is more like reading a book and less like watching a movie. Also, there is no buttons on the main screen of the app other than 'Read' and 'Listen'. I would like a button for 'Credits'.

Overall: great job and worth the buck.

Excellent retelling!

Bravo vNovel! This app is like enjoying a fine wine when giving a toast to a time honored classic.

To those who have given complaints about this app will, I hope, realize that this is not a book... It is in fact, a poem. There are no chapters, or a large amount of pages in a poem. The thought of adding a skip button to a poem that takes five minutes in the telling is completely absurd! Poetry should be compared to as music rather than as novels, and if you have time to listen to music you should have time to enjoy a well told poem.

Brilliant illustrations and voice

I would rather not try to "convince" one to download this piece of art, as it can only be appreciated and not critiqued. No words to express how beautiful this app is visually and otherwise.
